Owner/Director

Janine is the founder and director of Imago Dance Academy. She began dancing at the age of 3, and has always been part of a dance community, growing her skills in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary.

She knows that dance is a form of worship, and longs to see others grow in their love for the Lord as they move.

She is passionate about creating a space for your children to develop their skill and character while pursing the art of dance.

When Janine isn’t at Imago, you can find her spening time with her husband of 20 years and their three kids, holding a cup of coffee and talking about Jesus.

Assistant Director

Brittney has been a part of the Imago dance family from the start. Brittney comes with experience as a business owner and as someone who deeply loves Yakima.

Her business skills and passion for worhip are an incredible assest to Imago.

When Brittney isn’t at Imago, you will find her spending time with her husband and two kids, enjoying our beuatiful city.

Instructor

Natalie is stepping into her role as instructor after dancing her enire life.

She has studied classical and contemporary ballet, and has been an assistant teacher with our studio for several years. We are so excited to have her back on staff!

When Natalie isn’t dancing, you can find her hiking, spending time with friends, and deepening her relationship with Jesus.

Raquel grew up dancing in the Yakima Valley and spent over 10 years training in jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Dance has always been something she has truly loved. Raquel loves working with kids to help them discover their confidence and joy through dance. She can’t wait to teach hip hop and jazz to all of our students!

Instructor

Carolina has been dancing for almost her entire life. She is trained in ballet and contemporary, and loves the ability to express herself through art and motion. She has always dreamed of being able to spread the love and joy of dance to others.

Carolina also loves surfing and traveling the world!

INSTRUCTOR

Lucy fell in love with ballet as a teenager. She loves the beauty of dance, and the ability to worship God through movement.

Lucy loves working with the younger dancers, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family outside of the studio.

INSTRUCTOR

Jenna is back for another year at Imago!

She is gifted in tap and ballet, and has a great passion for teaching the younger generation how to love Jesus, how to love others, and how to love themselves.

When Jenna isn’t dancing at Imago, she is busy being a present mother to her four kids.

INSTRUCTOR

Savanna is joining us as a ballet instructor this year, as she dances her way through her senior year of high school.

Savanna has danced as a student at Imago for several years, and never fails to amaze everyone with her grace, beauty, kindness, and gentle heart.

She is a gift to our stufio and our dancers!

Jaycie returns to Imago to teach our ballet and ballet/tap combination classes!

She feels the most joyful when she is dancing, as well as when she is building up and encouraging another generation of students.

Jaycie is passionate about dancing and teaching others to love Jesus with all they are.
