Owner/Director

Janine is the founder and director of Imago Dance Academy. She began dancing at the age of 3, and has always been part of a dance community, growing her skills in ballet and tap. Janine believes strongly that dance is a form of worship, and longs to see others grow in faith through the arts. She is passionate about helping your children develop their skill and character while pursing the art of dance.

Janine has experience in the dance world on multiple levels, and is beginning her fifth year running Imago Dance Academy. Previously, she taught dance classes at Hearts In Step Dance Academy in Grand Rapids, MI - a pre - professional school.

Assistant Director

Brittney has been a part of the Imago dance family from the start. Brittney comes with experience as a business owner and as someone who deeply loves Yakima.

Her business skills and passion for worhip are an incredible assest to Imago.

Instructor

Natalie is stepping into her role as instructor after dancing her enire life.

She has studied classical and contemporary ballet, and has been an assistant teacher with our studio for several years. We are so excited to have her back on staff!

When Natalie isn’t dancing, you can find her hiking, getting coffee with friends, and deepening her relationship with Jesus.

Instructor

Raquel grew up dancing in the Yakima Valley and spent over 10 years training in jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Dance has always been something she has truly loved! Raquel loves working with kids to help them discover their confidence and joy through dance. She can’t wait to teach hip hop to all of our students!
